I hate this so much. I was a proponent of 6 teams but have come around to 12. More than that is just ridiculous though, especially if they go to 24.

Agreed the two automatic G6 spots are getting a lot of hate, just felt odd that y'all didn't acknowledge the two G6 at large teams (and that you keep pretending the ACC is good enough to be considered a power conference but that's a whole different kettle of fish)

And yes Miami has pulled off two big upsets, but that doesn't justify their inclusion any more than getting blown out would have justified excluding Tulane and JMU. Those two teams deserved to be there as automatic qualifies, regardless of outcome.

This is a weird episode because it's missing the biggest problem from the last two years. Not that there are two G6 autobids, but the two G6 at large teams (SMU and Miami) that got in despite terrible resumes.

It feels a little weird to be starting a job at that age. 65 is nominally retirement age. Plenty of folks hold on past that if they're already at a gig, but how many fields see someone start a brand new, full-time job that late in life? Especially if money isn't a driving factor?
