Guys, there's no rationalising this, or any way to make sense of it. Your Constitution is broken, and the Supreme Court broke it. Nobody's going to fix it - there is no legitimate legal remedy. You're fuct, and by extension, so are the rest of us.

Three years in, and I am so profoundly tired of having to explain this to people.

Clients are still positive and interested in the technology, but I’ve yet to see a single successful implementation, anywhere.

Anywhere. No billion dollar products, services, or internal co. implementations. None.

People try to make sense of the anti-mask agenda in terms of oppression or control or 'othering'. But there is no sense to it apart from an urge to pretend that all is as before & there is no threat & nothing we do can matter. It's the same as climate change denial - ultimately it's a death cult.

We should all be so lucky as to have a bunch of good friends we can get rowdy and rude with at Christmas, as long as we don't break any rules or upset anyone else.

You'd expect Boris to have more sympathy. After all, following that party at Lebedev's Italian villa for which he dumped his security escort, he very nearly needed a wheelchair to get to the plane...

We can't ditch the Tories' NI cut because it was the OBR's job to stop it. We have to cut foreign aid because Trump said so. We can't protect copyright because OpenAI will be sad. We have to fiddle with Motability because Christian Calgie got 500 retweets.

I wasn't being entirely serious. I've written for TV and at times my stuff has been mangled beyond recognition and I moan about it but I've never refused the royalties

Did he send back the royalties?

They think they can balance the country being totally hostile to a relatively small number of asylum seekers; marginally hostile to migrants needed to fill work in key sectors (health, care etc) and international students; and very attractive to high skilled migrants in high pay sectors. They can't.

One cannot hope to bribe with fees,
Thank God, our UKIP MEPs
But seeing what these shits will do
Unbribed, there's no occasion to.
