NavMeshAgent has disadvantages in large memory capacity and processing speed. Your game is cartoonish, so I think you should use the URP well. Your game is very interesting.

There are some way to implemet movement system.
In my opinion the greatest way is to use Nav Mesh Agent component.
I hope you get good results.
