If Donald Trump, whose record is marred by divisiveness, inflammatory rhetoric & littered with actions that have destabilized rather than reconciled, were to be awarded this Nobel Prize, it would be a serious betrayal of the very ideals this prize is meant to uphold!

In principle, the United States has a constitutional separation of church and state, but in practice, especially under tRump the boundary is often tested and politically contested!

Bibles are regularly pushed in classrooms.

Religion & school

Public schools exist to educate citizens, protect children’s rights, & treat everyone fairly. When the state, through schools, promotes a particular religion it betrays those duties!

Schools may/should ONLY teach about religions from a neutral, academic perspective.
