We are getting to the point where collaborative living will be the new norm. Not "new" in terms of cohousing because it has a history in this country, especially for artists, but new as in leaving the push for single-family housing.

HAPPENING NOW — This morning, Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order establishing “ICE-free zones.”

“That means that city property and unwilling private businesses will no longer serve as grounds for these raids,” Johnson said to applause.

I always thought the "there are no tops" rhetoric was weird bc I it was never my or anyone's experience. But digging deeper, ypu realize they meant "no tops that's their type where the interest is reciprocated." They mean "porn tops" not "regular degulars tops."

This is insightfully true. They really just want to be seen, valued, cared for, ensured safety, etc. QPRs really need to be utilized more. Queer folx especially need to learn how we can provide these supportive, loving spaces to each other (no strings/quid pro quo reciprocation attached)

Platonic love doesn’t override romantic love, however what a lot of these “hopeless” romantics are craving is community and a safe space that can also found in platonic love/relationship.
