Something about the DFL actively disappointing us in the most banal, predictable way amidst the visceral horrors of 2026 is just surreal. I feel insane.

Docked public bikeshare can be fun and easy to use on a whim. The typical grimy Lime bike with crooked handlebars that's been shoved in the bushes at a gas station is transportation of last resort and, imo, makes the concept of biking in general less appealing to people who don't usually ride.

Now that you mention it, that seems to be where the GTFS data places it, too. Wonder if they reconsidered and moved it last minute so that a future route 4 upgrade could use it. Would just need an exclusive signal to cut across the intersection to Lyndale.
