Is there no room in this conversation to acknowledge that Metroid needs to evolve a bit to stay relevant?

Practically every Metroid game is the same when it comes to atmosphere/tone/story (and I say that as someone who LOVES Metroid).

This gives the franchise an opportunity to branch out a bit.
