Shanghai is rainy today. Not the crazy summer rains where even an umbrella does not work and getting a taxi to office was not difficult but cold rains are the worst here.

I have a sense that what's going on today in Gaza and Israel is going to end up in a complete disaster. Something not intended might have been kicked off and potential for spiral escalations are possible. And scary. #Israel #Gaza

Now the first plan after we are released from business is to move on to bring my parents to Shanghai for a visit. They have been waiting for so long for this.

Now the first plan after we are released from business is to move on to bring my parents to Shanghai for a visit. They have been waiting for so long for this.
We have come to an agreement with our landlord and the client to buy our cafe and with that we conclude a 6 months worth experience and adventure and take our company out of business for the moment. Relieved to get back my weekends but also sad to lose something we have worked so much for.
Came to our cafe once again on a holiday. This is getting tiring. Having less family time also does not help. We are looking for a way out in a way that will not break the bank. Stay tuned.
