Had a great Meet & Greet in Rockton earlier this week! The turnout was so good we had to add extra tables. Unlike the #IL16 incumbent Darin LaHood, I’m not afraid to meet with regular people and hear their concerns. In fact, it’s one of the best parts of campaigning!

Yesterday was a huge day for everyone who believes in our campaign to flip #L16. We submitted over 2,300 signatures — 3x the required number to get on the ballot. We couldn’t have done this without the dozens of volunteers who worked so hard across the district over the last three months. Thank you!

IL farmers are being squeezed. Costs rise, exports fall, fewer buyers and weaker prices. Even strong harvests bring losses, threatening family farms and local economies. We need leaders with the backbone to fight for fair trade and a farm bill that protects farmers.

It was a crazy busy weekend on on the campaign trail in the race for #IL16. I had events in Rockford, Byron, Pecatonica, the Galena Territory, and Dixon and met so many good people who are concerned about our country but fired up to make a change. We're well on our way to getting on the ballot!
