This! I just replied with similar content. Was implied I had “anxiety” until I was diagnosed with hEDS /dystautonomia. Granted my GP FINALLY mentioned dysautonomia to me that led to my diagnosis. But it took him 20 years to do it. This doesn’t mean all GP’s are like that, but mine was.So frustrating

After being gaslit by my GP for approx 20 years into thinking I was crazy, I was finally dx with hEDS and dysautonomia. Yes, those things come with pain and anxiety and my new team recognizes that and don’t imply it’s all in my head. Not saying you or all GP’s are like this, just my experience.
