Helps out in some situations, becomes tedious in others. I believe hdmi ports and cables are stupidly brittle, haven't had any problems with DP.
Btw, a good idea is to just push the cable upwards and click the button, it'll disconnect easily ^w^

DisplayPort is much better than hdmi IMO; hdmi is just a cashgrab from tv manufacturers, paying license to add it onto a product is stupid.
