We have an AI connected to our IT ticketing system that hallucinates the ticket summaries and we've been complaining for a year and they're still using it. Maddening.

Not to mention the fact that execs rarely have any true understanding of what jobs the people on the ground actually DO or HOW they do it. They have no fucking clue and we're all going to suffer because of it.

I work in tech support. In my anecdotal experience, non-exec people are unimpressed by AI being shoved at them from every direction, don't like using it, don't trust it, and fear the job losses because of it. Why would we use it if we know we're literally training it to replace us?

I have been coveting the "fck ice" shirt for a while but can't really justify the expense currently. But I need for people wherever I go in this conservative state to know that I have only the most intense dislike for ICE.

I remember as a kid thinking that there were people out there protecting us from things like this & then growing up & realizing nope...it's always always always about cutting corners for profit and people pay with their lives. It's heartbreaking & awful & never any consequences for those at fault.

Not gonna lie, I wasn't sure Americans had it in them to keep up the fight. But here they are, veterans, suburban moms, teenagers & grandmas showing up to tell ICE to fuck off & get out. LA, Portland, DC, NYC, Memphis, Chicago, & everywhere else fighting these Gestapo fucks...I am proud of you.
