Critical Rationalist
@noncynic.bsky.social
Tech lawyer in practice for 40+ years. Pilot. Author. Veteran.
Philosophy of Science fan: Karl Popper.
Religion is irrational and dangerous.
Crypto is worse than tulipmania.
Political power based on lies (GOP, Russia, etc.) must be stopped.
It doesn't matter what the courts decide in this case.

Whatever Trump builds there is going to be unceremoniously razed as soon as the next non-fascist administration takes office.

NO ONE will want such a reminder of his obscenity.

Absolutely

Not just migrants. Special ops forces with equipment and explosives to engage in sabotage.
December 18, 2025 at 5:50 PM
Putin and Trump are part of the same crime family.

Putin's Russia is a mobster state, Exhibit 4,533.

It's unlikely Trump will even live to the end of his current term, but if he does, SCOTUS will figure out a way to get him a third term, even if someone else wins the election.

Bush v. Gore was just a dress rehearsal.
December 17, 2025 at 10:38 PM
Mobster boss talk.
December 17, 2025 at 10:22 PM
Putin is a revanchist megalomaniac mobster, completely disconnected from reality.

Cronkite and Murrow would like a word.

(If they were alive today, they would see CBS go down in flames.)

Exhibit A in why we should reinstate the progressive taxation of the Eisenhower era. (Top tax rates = 90%)

Ike was my kind of Republican: defeated fascism in Europe, warned of the military-industrial complex, sent troops to Little Rock, set up the Interstate Highway System. And progressive taxation

Many times I have told my sons (who are in their 20s) that the Bush v. Gore decision marks the beginning of America's decline.

Europe should have been screaming it openly and relentlessly since the first Trump administration. Russia has owned Trump for years. The Trump "sabotage" presidency is most successful KGB/FSB covert op in history.

Getting unexpected but welcome assists from FedSoc, SCOTUS, Musk, Thiel, et al.

Just ignore and block the trolls.
(Your points are valid, but trolls like this perosn aren't here for reasoned discussion.)

The result of pervasive, years-long Russian misinformation and propaganda, as well as targeted bribery and intimidation.
December 17, 2025 at 12:43 PM
Spot on.
And when Little Hitler loses the support of even John Yoo, the torture memo guy, you know this abomination of an adminsitration is definitely committing war crimes.
It's in this article:

Former Air Force secretary: Bradley ‘would be court-martialed’ under ‘normal circumstances’
Former Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall on Monday rejected Navy Adm. Frank Bradley’s reasoning for launching a second strike on a vessel in the Caribbean as two wounded survivors clung on to the boat...

Johnson has been a Russian asset for years.

If there's anything he can do to sabotage our government and our country, he will.
December 15, 2025 at 8:24 PM
Yep.
(As if any further proof were needed.)
December 15, 2025 at 4:42 PM
Agreed, until she apologizes for her prior stunts like that one.

As unlikely as it may seem, it IS possible for a cult-immersed person to have a catharsis or otherwise escape from the cult. But if we are to believe that has happened, the person must own up to their previous craziness and apologize.

Ohio; Ditto!
My chunks are in a ziploc bag somewhere in my basement, and include a piece of the pipe that topped the wall. I found out later that the pipe is almost pure asbestos.
From an earlier trip (1971) I managed to grab a piece of the barbed wire from the original wall at Potsdamer Platz:

Nice to hear :)
Popper' critical rationalism is the basis of my monicker here!

A couple of grifters sent by the Department of Extortion.

I would personally donate toward reconstructing the East Room, especiallly since the claims against the assets of the Trump family will far exceed the value of those assets.
December 13, 2025 at 5:33 PM
Same. I borrowed a large sledgehammer and even with that it was difficult to chip chunks off that wall. They'd built it to last.

It would be even more gratifying to take a chunk out of the Epstein ballroom before it's leveled to the ground and the East Room reconstructed.
December 13, 2025 at 5:29 PM
Appropriate for Berlin.

But I don't want ANY lingering reminders of Trump in any public space, least of all the White House grounds!
