This would definitely work! Would you consider having dual wielding happen the first time you roll a duplicate weapon, rather than as a later upgrade? I think these games often rely on your item gets being always dopamine hits.

There's not a lot to differentiate this from other survivorlikes, and when I've played your other games your house style makes the violence charming and funny; didn't get that here.

Weapon crates felt punitive if I had a good gun already because it might switch to the lower fire rate revolver. If there was some benefit to this i didn't see it, but the look of the game tells me to pickup the crates and then often feels like it punishes me.

I thought it played and looked pretty good. Interface was fairly easy to understand, but you could probably indicate which items are level ups vs. new ones on level up to make the choice more obvious and rewarding.
