I find it amusing that the thing he seems to have enjoyed most lately is the first CCR album haha. I mean nothing wrong with that at all, but just a funny juxtaposition.

Until recently I lived in BG for 15 years and boycotted the first one, couldn’t believe when they opened up the second. I recommend Rastro Cafe if you want a decent coffee in Bethnal Green, great stuff.

What about when you walk 5 minutes up the road and there’s another fucking branch haha.

Seen some wonderful stuff there over the years but Charles Tolliver a couple of years ago pick of the bunch. Fantastic. Also the food is fantastic, more venues should offer dinner!

Not sure if you’ve been before, but everyone plays in the round at Church of Sound, really great thing they have going.

Saw Mani with the Scream a fair few times, but the best was Southampton Guildhall in around 2002/3, with Shields on guitar. Just controlled sonic maybem. Fucking brilliant.

Psychedelic Pill the one for me. Just an enormous record in every way, love it.
