Love the purple model, I was skeptical about a device with only D-pad but it's been a huge hit between me and the kids

They really should have reworked his set bonus effect, it's just beyond useless

2016 and Eternal were amazing and I was nothing short of blown away by how good they were

Yet I haven't played them since I beat them, whereas I've been playing the originals since I was a kid and have yet to stop

When I was younger I could have disagreements with my friends and relatives, and we could go back to dinner and enjoying ourselves.

It's much harder to "live and let live" when your friend *hates* you and everything you believe in

And what you believe in is helping people and not hating gays.

Arguing with someone over opposing views has *always* felt like a waste of time for me, almost never does anyone actually change their view or admit they're wrong in the moment

The key difference between before and now though is how *hostile* those disagreements are.

That last level was such BS, I got stuck more than once trying to figure out what to do and the combat was some of the absolute worst in any wad I've played, real "save between each kill" cheese stuff

Even though i missed like 85% of the hidden content on my own, it was still plenty entertaining watching Power Pak's video on it

Got my gf's 7 year old to play thru the first 6 levels of ultimate doom (on I'm too young to die) and she was actually breezing but had to stop because a zombieman snuck up behind her in a dark room and jumpscared her when she turned around

Original doom feels like kind of a copout since they basically just copied a bunch of real songs in midi lol, but otherwise totally agree
