51 years ago today and a first ever visit to the Twin Towers at Wembley on the coach from Ilford if I remember correctly!! 51 years on, I've still never seen a club side I've wanted to win actually win at the old or new Wembley!!

After the last two weekends away in Tromso and Essen, our plan for this afternoon is a first ever dip into the Suffolk and IpswichLeague at Step 7 as 7th placed East Bergholt United host 13th placed Leiston St Margarets - shorts, sunglasses and sun cream ready!!

My match yesterday at Step 7 in the Essex and Suffolk Border League ended in a big win for the visitors - Belle Vue 1 Earls Colne 5 - a win that moved the visitors up to 2nd in the table

Decent #NonLeague turnout 50 years ago on 4th January 1975 with 5 clubs in the #FACup 3rd Round - Wimbledon, Leatherhead, Altrincham, Stafford Rangers and Wycombe Wanderers. And in the days of the FA Cup replay, all 5 made it into the 4th Round draw with 2 away wins and 3 draws!!

2024 has seen me watch #football in 7 countries - England, Scotland, Wales, Sweden, Romania, Spain and Austria. Where to go in 2025? Well another Christmas present might give me my 2025 challenge - visit and watch a game in each of the countries where these #beers come from!!

On This Day 1991 I don't have a clue as to what my best #football match ever is - a nightmare question!! This is in the running - it had pretty much everything including a dreadful display of refereeing by that pompous wanker David Elleray - 33 years since this stunning Os win!!

#SpottheDifference Thoughts on the normal match day prices at Tamworth and the one-off prices for their #FACup tie vs Spurs. A total one-off so a justified increase against Premier League opposition? Or the #football fan being ripped off - once again?
