I love The Resistance, especially with the Avalon expansion that adds new roles and a medieval fantasy setting. Also highly suggest "Two Rooms and a Boom" since it can be played just with simple playing cards if you want boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/13...

Also if you're worried none of the devs will see any of the money, they likely wouldn't have seen that anyways. The majority of the game industry works off of a debt economy, we are paid more based on the likelihood that the next game does well, hardly any studios do profit share.

In fact I'd much rather see the game be a massive success just to spite the horrid decision to lay us all off.

As someone who was part of a team that was laid off almost entirely months before the game came out, despite everything I'd still really like people to play the game that I spent years working on. Not every dev may feel that way, especially on larger teams, but I work on games for them to be played.
