My fave would be "Bringing Out the Dead" as I feel that it may be the single best portrayal of raw, unbridled Stress in any movie ever made.

My favorite video game song from all time. Every time I see that video I get tears. I was so ridiculously pissed off when they replaced it on the PSP remake that I rage quit it on the spot.

Closest thing I can think of is Final Fantasy XII. it's single-player but party-based, and you can totally play just your choice of main as a healer, letting the rest of your party handle the action. I've done as much, and it's pretty fun that way,

I'm on your kid's side. I only ever invert the Y axis when I'm using actual flight sticks. For thumbsticks, it's always press up to look up, press right to look right - unless it's a motorcycle game in which I have to invert X too.

I did research, talked to a lot of people, and self-diagnosed with enough detail that my Doc was actually impressed. He gave me the prescription that I wanted and it's been wonderful.

What the heck is this game?

Curious, do you ever see moment in dialogs where a line will suddenly skip forward to the next bit? It was a mild annoyance the first time I tried playing this game waaaaay back in the day.

I just picked it up recently and have been interested in seeing what others have experienced with it. So far I've enjoyed the read, gonna give it a second read over before maybe bringing it to the table. Did you get a chance to read or play it?

Tanking in this game is my jam. I'm really enjoying it with the small group of regulars we play with.

I've had wonderful and quite memorable interactions with random strangers passing in the world. It's one of my favorite things. I've had horrible interactions with PUGs in Duty Finders. I will never, ever, ever, ever again play a healer or tank with a random group.

Anyway this has all (of course) gotten me in the mood for some FF-inspired tabletop RPGing. Again. Thankfully, options have expanded greatly since last time this bug hit (2006). I'm reading Fabula Ultima RPG, and it seems pretty neat, but being Me, I'd need to house-rule it to fit the tone I want.
