I’m guessing people are hoping the courts throw out laws like these on First Amendment grounds. Like Court and First Amendment precedent cases explicitly ban states from collecting taxes on speech irregardless of how much the state disfavors said speech.

A lot of the “anti-porn” people explicitly want that, even if they pretend otherwise ie how SWERFS and TERFS tend to have a shit ton of overlap.

I suspect this bill has little chance of going through given how it’ll almost certainly go into the committee she and Ted Cruz share, and he’s been deliberately killing her bills because of beef they’ve been having lately.

The CEO’s a fucking jackass but I really don’t think this is in support of fascism, especially given how censorial shit has gotten these days. Sex, sexuality, sex appeal, etc is historically one of the first things targeted by fascism.

This feels like mainly a blue sky issue, I’ve seen pretty much nothing but thirst posting over on the hell site, which is surprising given how horny I’ve seen people here and how loudly puritanical a lot of people on the other site can be.
