you are not ambitious enough if it works out in your head first

Emulating game platforms on android has been a delight. Never could have imagined being so happy with the portability and power my phone can offer.

Opera's lucid mode is quite cool. Next version if increases resolution by some AI model would be amazing. If Opera doesn't want to, I would love to build it.

Sharing compute locally will be the next evolution of computers. We dont need so many chips, we need heavy machine that runs all devices in the area. Wrap it to a water heater or something but that's what we need now.

Take the fun, dopamine hitting parts of social media, and we will be left with nothing but almost 99.99999% bullshit you will have to believe have no true value.

I am so sick of every tool now trying to summarize and replace everything with short form content everywhere.

Yes, I understand it saves the greatest asset we have, but at what cost.

It's always nice to see penguins, just always for some good reason. I don't know the reason, but I bet y'all it's good.

Bluesky is being therapeutic tbh. I am glad it exists, keeping me from slipping into mindless scrolling.

I don't understand yet why calling bsky, an echo chamber is an insult, I see it might serve a good place in the life of individuals like me.

Nothing changes people’s minds faster than brilliant marketing or (drumroll...) hunger. One plays on what we want, the other on what we need, and either works quicker than reason ever will.

Any business that makes today’s social media less addictive and highlights the benefits of doing that will be the true leader of the next digital age.

Assuming we can all look up from our phones long enough to notice.

The real world feels optional now, just a scroll away from a momentary escape into nothingness.

What will the next iteration of social media bring?

Attention is already the currency—are we nearing its peak exploitation, or is there worse to come?

Will we wake up and learn, or only after we've fallen too far?

The world we're building thrives on leveraging insecurities and fears, all under the pretense of freedom.

Are your choices really yours? Never could answer that.
November 25, 2024 at 8:35 AM
Social media is the unregulated market of attention trading. Your time is the fee, interactions are the gains, and comparisons are the losses.

No tools exist to measure net profit/loss, but it feels like we're all losing more than we're winning.

Now, there are more ways than ever to numb our brains and keep on the mechanical motion to deal with any problem in the world.

I am not very religious, but I believe we need a real savior, or otherwise, the elite will keep pretending they are them.

forgive and forget, bsky is the twitter reborn minus the users.
