UNBEATABLE is a really fun rhythm game that is explicitly antifascist, to me it feels like a playable 90s zine. A ton of heart with only a little bit of jank.

I finished Final Fantasy Tactics: Ivalice Chronicles and it is, by a wide margin, the best version of the game:
- Stellar voice acting
- Improved script tones down purple prose of WOTL (psp, ios) versions, “blame yourself or god” is back babyyyy
- wiegraf soft lock is fixed (iykyk)

I’m test driving Qobuz (thanks for the rec via BITM @bcmerchant.bsky.social) and listening to some old favorites. It still blows my mind that there is zero percussion in “Stairway to Heaven” until ~4:18 into the song—just past halfway through.

I’m kinda whatever on the Netflix+WBD merger
- mergers are usually bad for workers
- not looking forward to every WB movie looking Like That
- Netflix has its own creative management issues, but maybe they’ll be less likely to do the whole “destroy for a tax write off” thing.

I did a little tinkering last night and got the 2000 Sega classic “Typing of the Dead” playable in RTX Remix. It involved daisy-chaining a ddraw-to-d3d9 wrapper into RTX Remix’ d3d9 wrapper, and then tagging the UI elements.
