they dont hate communism ...their biggest trading partner since the 80s is China ...the Cuban Lobby is just very powerful voting bloc for the GOP and they make them keep the pressure on Cuba

everyone has free speech but for a post that requires impartiality ..like a Judge...FID head ...the appearance of bias shouldn't be there ...it compromises the post...even if the person is genuine and professional

Chung made favourable public comments re the PM's re Integrity Commission thing ...also made judgements in the media re SSL ...if a Judge made similar comments - he would be asked too recuse himself if such a trial came up before him ie one he made public comments about

Pamela Ffolkes[an accountant] led the FID when it was just revenue enhancement department within the Ministry of Finance. In 2010, the Financial Investigations Division Act was passed.
