There is a theory going around that the Trump administration wants to deliberately tank the U.S. economy to bankrupt farmers so that Elon can sweep up and buy their land for the mineral rights. Right now, it is the only thing that explains Trump's economic policies.

Billionaires have no clue of the sacrifices people make during Trump's recession "blip." How could they relate to parents skipping meals to ensure their kids have enough to eat or a worker who leaves 2 hours early to take the bus to work because they can't fix their car? They don't want to know.

Billionaires have so much money they couldn't spend it all in 50 lifetimes. Every dollar that they take in tax cuts is taken out of our economy just to give their bank account a higher number. That's the real redistribution of wealth.

The sad thing is that increasing billionaires' taxes would have zero impact on their day-to-day lives.Yet most are willing to inflict pain and suffering on millions of others in order to add precious zeros to their bank accounts. They act like superior beings when the opposite is true.

Republicans wanted the government to be run like a business. I guess I missed the part in business school where you cut costs by not paying your bills and fire your employees without any forethought.
