Thanks ^.^ dominated a lot by openworld exploration stuff, but I'm one of those "collect everything to trigger the endorphins of completion" - and then games like HZD and Hardspace severely triggered my sense of justice and antipathy towards evil conglomerates and shortsighted billionaires

But, it would be something like

- Horizon Zero Dawn
- Ascendancy
- Day of the Tentacle
- Battlefield 1
- Ghost of Tsushima
- Assassin's Creed: Revelations
- Watch Dogs 2
- Strange Brigade
- Monster Hunter: World
- Hardspace: Shipbreaker

True, was wondering if there was a way I could do it similarly to yours though 😁

Not a bad spread. Massively different from mine, but that's just even better. Diversity in taste is one of the best parts of the human existence

Honestly, I much prefer the bigger titles most of the time, like the ACs, HZDs, and so on. I really enjoy those. I don't however think they are even REMOTELY worth $100 per sale. The inflation/shrinkflation of less for more, infecting everything, I'm not on board with.

I got con crud+ without even going to a con.

I'm not sure that's how that's supposed to work...

Get better soon

And not all LLM manufacturers are self-aggrandizing capitalistic little shits, just, y'know, nearly all the successful ones, and all the ones most of us have ever heard of. But still, some try, and we WILL have some good use of this, at some point. If we work on REGULATING it, not demonizing...

Predictive AI can be used to recognize trends in systems to preface breakdowns, or in fact even recognize medical correlations of symptoms and tests, to more effectively diagnose things. Still not without oversight.
October 19, 2025 at 12:13 AM
E.g. GenAI can create diagrams for processes or systems, which often take hours or days of incredibly boring work to finish. You obviously still need to verify and correct things, mind. It's not only used to steal art or plagiarize - but those that do that, should forfeit their rights to procreate.

That's great! France used to be pretty famous for having everything dubbed and translated (at least when I was there many years ago, you couldn't find anything that wasn't in French). Congratulations on the haul!

Oh NICE! Although I thought France mainly ran translated versions of the comics? You even found them in English?

What's sad is that Petro is getting a LOT of flack in Colombia for this speech, for being 'irresponsible' as challenging Trump is seen as folly - additionally it's also seen as protecting drug dealers, as part of this speech included targeting Trump for attacking alleged drug boats from Colombia.
September 26, 2025 at 7:21 AM
Holy crap, that is some first class fire spitting. I wouldn't say Colombia is one to talk, including Gustav Petro, considering their own issues, but everything he said here was entirely correct, and deserved every bit of anger, disappointment, and call to action by the UN. Well said, Mr Petro.

You know, if I ever find myself in your neck of the woods, wherever that is (which won't be soon though, sadly), we're hitting the gym. Hope you're doing alright, sounds like you've had a time of not only changes, but challenges.

Thank you, man :-) yeah it's a pretty big step, so I'm quite excited for it 😁

I unfortunately did the bad thing, and overdid it, so now my body is breaking BECAUSE of the workouts... Shoulder, elbow, knee, foot >.< Nobody else to blame but myself and my own stupidity though. Eh, hopefully a physio can help me back on track.
August 10, 2025 at 1:45 PM
That's not technically true - it's been considered and measures have been tried, but the problem lies in the variable speed. Changing the limit in various zones, especially during construction or similar, has proven an extreme challenge. We will probably get there though.

I had considered making the trip, it's been a long time - but with the tangerine tyrant in power, and my less than positive public opinions on his idiocy, I'm likely to get illegally detained and ultimately deported anyway... :-/

Happy birthday young man - a few cents from across the pond.

Don't let yourself get jaded or complacent. The world has so many wonders and joys, not only to experience, but to preserve for others. It's so easy to get tired, but people are ultimately worth the effort.

Oh and stretch. A LOT.

What the hell is wrong with these morons?... I'm glad you're okay, these idiots tend to be short on the "common sense" and "impulse control" metric...
