How cool! I did a lot better with the first draft word count this time than last time. Only 84 over the limit instead of several hundred!

it's kind of a suspense thriller/crime type thing. I originally thought I was going to blend that with comedy .. but there's only so much you can do in 500 words!

Wait, what, is this person saying that the view that discrimination is okay is itself an example of diversity of opinion and should, therefore, be acceptable to people who champion diversity? That hurts my head. It doesn’t even make sense.

It is nothing like messaging a friend. My friends actually care about me and want to help if I have a problem. And they don’t send me fake feel-good responses.

Same same. I appreciate being older now because if I were younger I suspect I’d be self conscious about masking and worry about what people would think and I wouldn’t do it. My older self says, fuck them. I’ll do what’s best for me and I don’t care what they think.

Why do they bother giving Ai “assistants” actual names. We know we aren’t dealing with a human so why the pretence?

I’m looking forward to it too! Making the longlist this month has really inspired me, and just knowing I can write a story in a weekend, like you say, is a great confidence booster 😀
