From 15. to 17. January, you can discover the Norient Festival 2026 film selection with documentaries and short films from India, Kashmir, Palestine, Lebanon, Senegal, Portugal and the USA at the cinemas REX and Reitschule in Bern.

The 14. Norient Festival takes place from January 15.-17, 2026 in Bern. We asks how to live in a fractured world – through films, poetry, music, and sound; through listening, silence, stories, laughter - and even disagreement?

Two weeks ago, we were overjoyed celebrating the Special Prize for Music we received from the Federal Office of Culture. Norient founder Thomas Burkhalter accepted the prize, and it got pretty wild between the core team members! 🎉
