When stressed or bothered, red-tailed ratsnakes inflate their special “airbags” in their necks to appear large & in charge.

It’s #WorldSnakeDay, and what better time to celebrate one of our favorite Rainforest reptiles? Red-tailed ratsnakes, in particular, are tree-dwelling creatures with a distinctive blue tongue.

We send all our wishes for a refuah shleimah (a complete recovery) and pray for a time when all Jews, all LGBTQ+ people, all people, can gather together, in protest, in celebration, without fear for their safety.
