the only thing polling reliably tells us is that the majority of Americans want price controls on every consumer good with a Stalinist-level of granularity and many of them think those already exist, they're just being used wrong.

That will remain Firefox but with a thing that will "summarize" links for some reason? They added an option to use a chatbot of your choice awhile back but its menu comes with a prominent button to turn it off forever. all to impress a board that wants to be "with it" without knowing what that is

And if it does, there will be pushback as Firefox, Chrome and Safari are your only choices (Gecko, Blink, WebKit), everything else reskining those rendering engines.

All of these are just patches downstream from normal Firefox (or Chromium) and are not even the betamax of anything. Given how poorly Mozilla has been run for years I can't say if their statements actually mark any real change in direction for the browser or are just the CEO running his mouth.

his "clear wishes" were made up after the fact and aren't the fulfilment of some long held creative desire (they change them further every release) but based on suppressing the (incredibly important) originals (something only enabled by god awful copyright law).

George Lucas is a billionaire who fucked up the editing, picture and sound of three movies, only one of which he directed, entirely as a test bed for the Phantom Menace

if you don't need color you can get a b/w Brother laser printer for a little over $100 and it won't make your life hell like an inkjet and the toner lasts forever.

in both cases adaptations of actual holiday classics and I think you are meant to just substitute the latest version (and kids can't really object to this as stridently).

It's her web. And we're just living in it.

with this in mind, I had the thought that something like 'safety last' would be great

I think I would get hung up on the aspect ratios: no scope films, please, that's too wide, lol

(the DVD has a nice little behind the scenes overview about Gene Fowler Jr., who had a long career as a prominent editor, but Shout has not done a transfer of the film proper, so all the clips still had Joel and the bots riffing over it, lol)

there are much better films than this to menation, but I always found the "The Rebel Set" (a beatnik-sploitation(?) crime programmer) to have very decent direction for something that was clearly made with as little money as possible.
