I didn’t read it either, which may or may not have helped in this case. I had low expectations, so I ended up enjoying it. I guess I just liked the ambiguity of the ending, which I usually don’t!
Hegseth: "We unleash overwhelming and punishing violence on the enemy. We also don't fight with stupid rules of engagement. We untie the hands of our warfighters to intimidate, demoralize, hunt, and kill the enemies of our country. No more politically correct and overbearing rules of engagement."
Yeah I heard others complain about the ending. I thought they were just trying to keep things open for a possible season 2. I liked it because it gave sort of They Live type vibes.
Really? I actually thought it was one of the more fun things they’ve done with their tv-verse in a long time! Definitely the best animated show, imo, other than x-men97.
My guess for 13 F are: Sid, Rakell, Rust, Malkin, Mantha, Tommasino, Koivunen, Fabbri, Novak, Brazeau, Dewar, Lizotte, Acciari (IR- McGroarty, Hayes). Guess that leaves out Heinen as the only experienced NHLer.
I just don’t see anyone besides Koivunen & McGroarty (when healthy) making the roster from the AHL/junior/NCAA guys. Would love to see Hayes, Acciari, etc. waived/moved but not holding my breath.
This seemed like a really underrated signing for the Pens, assuming they don’t want to tank. He was always a guy with so much potential who seemed held back only by injuries. Could be a sneaky good signing similar to Beauvillier last year.
I’m starting to think they could be better than all of us expect. Fair point about the D and G’ing, but there is talent at both & turnarounds could make them just good enough for the offense to carry them to a finish somewhere from 8-10.
