Well an Animal Crossing New Horizons update was certainly not on my bingo card!
I got little plastic display things off Amazon that I put on a shelf. They slightly hang over the edge on the riser platforms and some are a bit tall to have on the top, but it works as an inexpensive solution and keeps the dust off!
