It's tradition around here to smack into the LRT once a week then write headlines making the LRT sound at fault.

If you live in the real world and love the environment you should fight for the last oil well to be drilled right here in Canada. Would you prefer we stop supplying and countries with no environmental protections take the market share? Oils not going away, we can produce it cleaner than anyone RN.

What is this Nenshi? A politician agreeing with something the opposition has done without discrediting it based solely on who did it? Maybe a new dawn is breaking.

The entitlement of particularly older folks to the PUBLIC street parking in front of their house always astounds me. We could save so much money if we made community streets half the width. As a land owner I want the municipality to stop spending my tax money on catering to car brains.

None, no amount will guarantee I am seen. Most days all of the lights, reflectors and high vis I ride with is just to make me look cool and fashionable.

I have close calls every...single...day! Keep your head on a swivel or it'll be on the ground one day.

Bajajaja. We were in a cabin a couple weekends ago and they had cable TV, which I haven't had for nearly a decade now. Everytime the ads came on I had an uncontrolled response to reach for the remote so I could press skip. A bit surprising was cable TV playing Django Unchained uncensored.

Everytime I have friends from out of town we do the YEG Tour. Picture with the Talus balls, run up the side of the Muttart as far as you can. Then round the day off by crashing our vehicle into the LRT. It's the most Edmonton thing you can do. /S

My assessment is drivers lose between 15 and 30% of their ability to think as soon as the wipers are turned on.

Be Swift and safe friend. In our house we like to say "Be gone before they can hit you".

Absolutely sad. I bike to work every day and take my life in my hands to do it. Even leave 45 minutes early for a 15 minute bike ride so I'm out before the glut of traffic. High vis vest, hi vis 40L side bag, one strobing forward light one solid, two rear brake lights and I still got hit this year.

Smith has been laying the groundwork to push for this for YEARS possibly decades. The whole "citizens initiative, I'll just have to respect what people say and won't presuppose" smells like a hot crockpot of crap. Her self proclaimed first step was to push towards this and get the ball rolling.
Today, Danielle Smith says she doesn’t want to “presuppose” whether a separatism question will be asked.

But in 2022, she wasn’t presupposing.

She was banking on it.

They just weren’t moving fast enough so she lowered the barriers to making it happen.

Word. That's all I'm saying. I know a lot of conservatives biting their tongues to see how Carney does. I hear "I'll give him 6-12 months and see what happens" almost daily now.

Pierre lost his own seat and the election, I hear he has self reflection to do, Ill judge the product of that.
