Commodore 16; the oddball underdog of the 8-bit era.

Wedged between the VIC-20 and the C64, it came with just 16KB, a 7501 CPU, and a colour palette far fancier than its station in life.

80s micros were so fleeting, yet made such an impact.

The QL’s OS actually had multitasking; you could run multiple jobs while SuperBASIC handled the foreground. For a 1984 home-business machine, that was unusually advanced.
