Yes, I took inspiration from "The Fallen Angel," a painting by Alexandre Cabanel. Besides the background and tear, everything else was done in one layer and started last night but completed today.

I lent ours to my 5th grade teacher years ago since her mother was in the Hitler youth group. I thought she would like to read this graphic novel since she never heard of it, I totally forgot to ask her for it back. It was my mom's book, btw! 😬 I am thinking of rebuying it!

These nice people have one set up in their front yard. I stopped by and left a note in the box. Many, MANY types of books, toys, classroom supplies, hotline numbers for help, and more are inside the box. Makes me wanna open one up as well.😊✨️
