Yeah that's possible, depending on how much of a limit you want to put on yourself. I have trouble working with 50 colors already but I think you can do it with just one shade even, as long as it all works together during gameplay

I like the green aesthetic for sure. 8 shades of green could have it look like the original game boy while still keeping it's own identity

Definitely not a bad idea to add some more shades of green. Using white is interesting as well. How many colors maximum are you planning on using?

Browsing for assets got very annoying. Even for pixel art you would click on something only to see the awful mixels and AI slop show up. Step in the right direction with these tags hopefully

There isn't really any agreed upon cutoff, I like to put it somewhere in between PS2/3. Depends on people's age as well I imagine.
