today i overheard some1 at a table (who made a reservation for 6 ppl 30 min before we closed) start trying to define nonbinary (incorrectly) & i almost corrected them but then i remembered that my gender studies major is prolly the reason why im cleaning up their dishes while they enjoy a nice meal

i don’t need to google our literacy rates. waiting tables shows me every day how little most people are able to read
