I can't agree with taking a human life. But I have to agree with validity of the statement.

I read the books in Junior High and reread them multiple times after. The movies were a pale disappointment for me. I hated what the way they turned Aragorn and his whole story around. He was shown as a wimp when all along everyone knew he was heir of Kings and he acted that way with determination.

STAR WARS (latter labeled chapter 3 A New Hope) was expected by those in Hollywood to completely fail. It was low budget Sci-Fi with relatively unknown actors (except for Alec Guiness).

I watched it 23 times in the theater as an undergrad (there was a theater that ran it as a $1 midnight show)
