I've been without power for 16 hours, thank GOD for my wood burner that kept me and the cats warm, baked a potato, and kept some emergency coffee warm.
Also thank God for friends bringing power banks!

Gotta love it when the internet goes down just as you need it, and your phone switches from 4G to 3G giving next to no connection (certainly not internet, it even struggles with a call)

She didn't finish her food -- which is already alarming, as she is always after food -- didn't show up to come in overnight. (She sleeps in the house in winter.) No sign of her this morning, been calling all day, and nothing.

That mattress warmer I put on the sofa, because I was really cold when I had a cold (it was warm in the room), well, let's just say, as far as one of my cats is concerned?
