You're not even using an analogy to defend yourself, you're using an idiom. It's not an analogy to pull the trigger on something, it's an idiom. I'm not even trying to be mean to you right now, but you're struggling quite dramatically to communicate even basic thoughts.

Again, you were not. Zero Sum means that there is a winner (or winners) and a loser (or losers). Even as you've been linked definitions and calmly had it explained to you, you keep refusing to admit you made a minor mistake. Nobody would judge you for that at all. This is so much worse.

I understood your reasoning perfectly. You're unfamiliar with the term and don't know how to use it correctly. I even gave you the correct word and admitted that you had a point in calling out Leftists tautology around the Badness of the US. This is just your inability to admit a minor fault.

It's ok to call out Leftists for that! It's accurate! The issue is that you're doing it poorly. And you fail to wonder, much less examine, why they came to that conclusion because you're so offended that they did so. It's antithetical to thought and discussion.

You weren't using it in an analogous manner. That's *still* not using zero sum correctly. The term you're after is that it's tautological - the US is bad therefore everything the US does is bad. The issue you're running into is that you lack the intellectual weight necessary to admit fault. Ironic.
