I have not ever experienced a show like that one. It was freaking insane. My cold dead GenX heart beat a couple of times today.

If I am at a sitdown restaurant and you are my waiter, expect a minimum 20% tip even for the worst possible service. Refill my waters and chat with me and you’re looking at more like 30 or 40%. But McDonald’s? No thank you please

I don’t need a cookie and a high five every day. But it’s been five years since I’ve felt my experience and expertise is valued - so somewhere between every day and five years is a good rule of thumb.

It’s another great reminder that leadership matters and while you can be a really great organized and doer, if you treat your employees like expendable cogs you’re not going to have an impact.
