Thanks for the link. I’m still honestly not sure if I think it’s human-made but I suppose it wasn’t ICE that made it, and Spectator may have a distinctive style. Those hands on the guns just look wonky.

Probably the least objectionable aspect of the poster, but it appears to be an AI-generated image, and not even a well-done one, either. (Guessing based on the leftmost soldier’s hand on the barrel, Trump’s hands on the machine gun, and the stamped-on ICE labels on the uniforms.)

So it isn't his view on the variability hypothesis being true that bothers me, it's that his thinking it applies more broadly indicates he's sexist, an idiot, or (most likely) a mix of the two. That's what bothers me.

Whenever I see men discuss this theory online, I get the strong feeling that they're thinking "and that's why I'm smarter than women" immediately after their explanation. No. If anything it's more likely you're dumber than a woman at the same percentile in the distribution.

studies I've seen also show 46XX females as having a (slightly) higher mean/median IQ. The only place this is likely to manifest is at the very extreme ends of the bell curve. Could it be one of the reasons that men have a 40% higher risk of schizophrenia than women? Quite possibly.
