My doorbell just rang, and I almost didn't answer it, because I didn't recognize the man. When I answered, he handed me a beautiful invitation to a Christmas party at his home. He lives in the neighborhood and said he admired we had our Harris/Walz signs out during the election. I'm tickled!

In 2021, Abbott claimed he would "eliminate all rapists from the streets" of Texas. Yet in 2024, TX had the highest rape-related pregnancy in the country. I have a feeling he's not really concerned about crime.

I read the Texas Tribune article and I have to admit it struck some fear. I appreciated reading your take on it and putting things in perspective.
