Love this. Have said for years minimum wage should be tied to the cost of local housing, groceries, heating/cooling, and health insurance. “How many hours should a person have to work in order to simply sustain their life?” My answer is: six hours a day four days a week.

There was something about the whole package, put together. Stereo speakers in both directions, the speed at the time it came out. My wife still has hers, but the battery only lasts about an hour, and the question is should we replace the battery on a unit that won’t get software updates pretty soon…

That was the best iPad Pro yet, and I regret selling it a couple of years ago. (I had the 9.7” from early 2016, same feature set.)

So what is to be done? I dunno. At scale, probably nothing. I’ve been a journalist 33 years, & in this regard same as it ever was. For individuals looking to get free? Read weird, be skeptical, don’t take cues from social media (so ignore this!), grow yr attention span, ask structural questions.
