Play 9:15 to 9 45 at Warehouse with Nitrogirl. I meet him at the back loading door, John changes while I drive. (db meter at Warehouse said it was the 3rd loudest show ever when they were on)

I go unto the storage under the house regularly and give away things away. Why do we have this after 19 years here? Cleaned out my shed and garage this spring and it was 1700 pds to recycling and the dump.

Another heat warning day here. Headed to my Dad's 88th birthday for a few hours. He's a block from Lake Erie and there are some good winds today so shouldn't be too bad.

Once they're a bit established I hope to start a bit of a Nuci's idea for young musicians. I can't see replicating Nucis scale of help. Not yet. We're going to look to get co-op students from the highschool to train and paid interns from the Uni and College nearby.

Moving forward with my son and his band mate Josh on a start up. My wife and I are backing them in getting a rehearsal space and studio off the ground. Josh ran a studio for years and has the gear still.

Also plans to use it as a community space.

Watched as much of the protests as I could and did not watch the Temu Military Parade.

Had friends on both side of the border participating.

Highlight for Toronto was the march mixing in with a naked bike riders protest as well.

Morning all. Great weekend so far. Friday night in Toronto to see my son play at NXNE (think SXSW) got home after 3 am so Saturday was pretty lazy. Debating a Lake Ontario cruise in the boat. Gotta check wave heights and forecast. They're called Great Lakes for a reason.

Morning all. Plumbing job ended up taking all day yesterday. I am good but slow.

Front lawn cut, circle cut, trees trimmed up. Gotta take the hedge clippers to two big bushes out there yet. And my tulip tree appears to have a tulip.

Then some boat work. New auto bilge pump to go in. Double check the trolling motor battery charging system.

Another weekend of fishing. But I let the to do list pile up. Some plumbing to do today. Outside tap sprung a leak in the winter so I quickly cut and capped it inside. Now to undo my temp fix.

If the rain holds off I'll cut the grass. Smoke from the forest fires has moved on.
