That's totalitarianism - centralizing control of markets or actions that hinder market activity.

Fascism is the violent oppression of opposition in alignment with govt & busn/corp interest, but that doesn't necessarily affect markets.

US agriculture is currently suffering from fascism though.

Capitalism can thrive under fascism as long as the markets operate profitably, it's the totalitarian tendencies that spook suppliers & buyers because that threatens their profit margins & consumer confidence.

They didn't the last two election cycles - they took bailout money in 2019 & voted for him in overwhelming numbers in 2020 & 2024.

Yet right, they understand agricultural market dynamics & economics better than anyone in his administration.

Except the investor class's passive income streams depend in large part on the profitability & quarterly dividends from US corporations that depend on our consumer economy, which is 70% of US GDP.
Consistent ROI isn't sustainable w/o US consumers buying stuff besides cheap Walmart crap.

hitler's instigation tactics (this is miller's role now since drumpf went yumpy years ago) in order to provoke a public or state response(s) that they can leverage/characterize as open rebellion.

This is why democratic states need to organize to develop & implement a peacekeeping response strategy.

I've noted the same but don't want to draw attention to it.
The pending farmer bailout from the tariff slush fund is an example of the regime buying votes/favor.
