Day 26: Most disappointing drama of 2023

Some of my lowest rating 2023 drama:
- The Magical Women: they weren’t very magical
- We Go Fast On Trust: it was so boring?
- Once and Forever (the sequel): the stupidest show ever (according to my MDL notes 😂)

These were the ones I finished till the end.

Day 25: Favourite romance of 2023

Meet Yourself - Xie Zhiyao & Xu Hongdou

Also a special shout out to Fake It Till You Make It CP - Xu Ziquan & Tang Ying.

Actually does this mean actual costumes or ancient drama? 😆 I quite like the costumes in Wonderland of Love and somebody reminded me I liked FL’s styling in Love Me, Love My Voice.

So I guess I have two Day 24 😆

Day 24: Favourite costumes of 2023

I watch lesser ancients so I concentrated the most in Wonderland of Love, Pledge of Allegiance, Butterflied Lovers and My Journey To You.

Day 23: Longest drama I completed in 2023

Legend of Lu Zhen - 59 episodes

I am not guaranteeing 100% smartness 😂 but it’s definitely less than dums than A Date With the Future 😆

Don’t ask me why I start and complete them either 🙃

Day 22: Shortest drama I completed in 2023

Overall: Makanai (9 episodes)
Cdrama: At the Moment, More than Blue: The Series (10 episodes)

Actually, that firefighter drama with ZHY and HJR (Bright Eyes in the Dark) was better than expected. I was getting really tired of all the firefighting dramas but this was pleasantly all right. There were no dum dum plots 😆

Came out and ended in January! 😂

Day 21: A drama that was better than expected

Meet Yourself

😂 I didn’t expect to like THIS much 🤭

I figured it would be nice cause of the leads. But I didn’t expect it to touch me so. Not just the leads but every other character and their journey in the show.

Day 20: A drama that made you sad or cry

I am gonna sound like a very LONG broken record but Meet Yourself holds this day.

Particularly, the episode where FL visited Nanxing’s parents (I cried during my first and second watch).

More recently, the airport and gao bai scene in 26 😭

I seriously cannot remember what drama. But I think I have literally laughed out loud for Meet Yourself and The Heart.

Day 18: A favourite scene from 2023

One scene I liked was the scene where grandma and Xu Hongdou had a good talk just by themselves. This was nearing the end of the show. But I couldn’t find a pic of it :( so here a pic of the OTP instead 🤭
