For better diagnosis of skin disease, @ND_CSE grad student Qingyue Jiao helped develop HybridQ, a hybrid classical-quantum model that generates realistic skin disease images.

This small device is changing spinal surgeries.

Dr. Stephen Smith completed the first surgery with this new implant designed by Engineering professor Ryan Roeder in the summer of 2023. Since then it has improved outcomes for more than 600 patients: go.nd.edu/d009f4
