I think if you’re a fan of the game it’s deffo worth a watch!! But tbh if you’re unfamiliar I feel like it’d be harder to get into or enjoy. Some pretty cool gory scenes, and aesthetically I really like how the game was translated into meatspace, with some interesting additions too!

Not trying to be overly negative here btw! I think it’s amazing that folks made a film based on the game - I adore the game and it’s really cool to see it on the big screen, and folks worked hard to make that happen. That’s cool af and I’d love to see more indie horror given this treatment 🤘✨

My biggest gripe was that one characters in particular had such a strong effect added to the voice I couldn’t hear like 95% of what they said. I need subtitles lol. Unsure how much of the voice was intended to be understood vs not, but it felt like I missed some key dialog between them and Simon 😭

Ok, it was p solid! A challenge to translate the experience of the game into a full feature film, so it did feel sluggish and drawn out at times but still solid. Also the blood, for how much was used, I was expecting to see more of it / bigger impact with how it was used on screen.
