Yes, I’m getting old and I’m afraid of that, but I really fear anesthesia. I think I’m nervous about people doing things in my personal world, or what I think is personal, while I’m completely oblivious. This is probably my fear of death as well. Also this was my pre-colonoscopy meal plan yesterday.

I’m now positive most of my fellow Americans don’t mind being told what to do - want it even - just as long as they are allowed to act on their worst impulses, be their most antisocial selves. No wonder so many of us hate the term socialism.
