How about you give money to direct aid to keep your neighbors alive? Honestly sickening that genocidal actions are being taken against disabled, trans, and undocumented people, and instead of rendering aid you’re fretting about keeping your wealth intact.

No worries, friend. Tell your sweetie thanks for service to the community. 🙏🏻💙🏳️‍⚧️

Ok, thanks. Hope she’s ok and being housed in humane conditions. Would you mind passing on a request for contact from someone who’s organizing on this topic? If yes, would need to continue on dm or encrypted. Also ok if the relationship is too tangential to ask.

Possible to DM about this? Don’t want identifying details but info sharing about how the process is working now would be helpful to a lot of folks.

You helped and you came back to tell the rest of us. You’re setting an example for others. Thank you!

Yes, and accusing a publication of poor fact checking when in reality the bulk of what you’re talking about is topics that you think merit furhter exploration is irresponsible. If you want this written about, then write about it and don’t attack people who are doing the work.

Again, this is another important topic, but this is not the focus of the article. If you would like to write on the topic of how Canada has been tightening asylum please do as it needs to be heard.
February 19, 2025 at 7:06 PM
Again, this is not a matter of fact checking. This is more on the topic of passport confiscation which also the N*zis did and being real is a standard tool of oppression for nation states. This is a related topic and crucial for another article but not a misrepresentation of facts.
February 19, 2025 at 7:04 PM
what you’re calling untrue is actually the article not having additional information that you would like publicized but is not necessary to the piece. What you’re asking for—which is an exhaustive discussion about possible remedies legal and otherwise—is another article.

No need for apologies. It sucks that some people act like this, but am glad it showed that under minimization is often hatred.

This person is minimizing what actual trans people are saying—and verified reports in mainstream media—about the confiscations of trans people’s passports in federal offices. When called on to stop and to donate to direct aid for trans people, she is lashing out rather than rendering aid.

Five, thee’s a lack of mechanisms for restoring revoked passports, so if someone’s passport has been fevoked a successful lawsuit may not automatically restore it and would likely be delayed indefinitely through bureaucratic obstruction. Six, the potential for retaliation or policy worksarounds

First, it’s already a big leap of faith to say that rule-of-law will hold during an ingoing coup and with SCOTUS stacked with judges poised to overturn existing precedents. Two, there will be no immediate relief for those who are already interned (which btw is a human rights violation under

READ THE ARTICLE! And do it before minimizing when trans people say they’re being forcibly interned. If you’re minimizing this when trans people are calling for help, you are part of the problem. Go donate to a direct aid org rather than saying there’s no problem. www.thecanary.co/global/world...
Trans people are now forcibly interned in the US by Donald Trump's regime
US officials are now taking away passports - denying trans people the ability to flee worsening conditions in the country
